about dr. jordan
Dr. Jordan received his B.S. from the University of Notre Dame and his Ph.D.
in clinical psychology (health track) from the University of Utah. He
completed a health-track internship at the Central Arkansas Veterans
Healthcare System and pursued additional training in health psychology
at the University of Mississippi Medical Center.
Dr. Jordan’s program of research focuses on the interpersonal characteristics
of individual difference variables such as religiousness, spirituality,
alexithymia, and health anxiety. Additionally, he examines the physiological
processes by which these individual difference variables influence health and
well-being.
Dr. Jordan teaches graduate and undergraduate courses in health psychology and
personality and maintains an active research lab with the assistance of selected
graduate and undergraduate students.
